A cased 80 bore improved percussion single action gas seal, Lang type revolver with signed octagonal, rifled, sighted barrel retained by a wedge and fitted with a cylinder retracting spring, fluted cylinder with vertical nipples, scroll engraved action, off-set long spur hammer, chequered walnut butt with a case hardened butt trap with an engraved hinged cover & a vacant silver escutcheon, engraved trigger guard and all in it's green baize lined, mahogany case including some accessories. £1850
WHITE & BATES. A 120 bore closed wedge framed self cocking percussion revolver with a 4 1/2" octagonal barrel engraved with scroll. The top strap is border and scroll engraved and with name as is the frame and has a safety stop and serial number. Chequered walnut grips finished with a steel engraved butt cap. £750
A BIRMINGHAM made 100 bore 6 shot percussion revolver, engraved open frame with a safety stop. 4 1/2" octagonal barrel with a scarce sprung loaded rammer under the barrel, Birmingham proofed and with multi grooved rifling, chequered walnut grips, circa 1850. £595

A 5 shot 160 bore Adams pattern 1856 double action percussion revolver. 8" overall with a 3 1/4" octagonal barrel engraved with the retailers name Jacomet a Rio Janeiro on top strap, Francotte and Liege proof marks, scroll engraved frame marked 'Adams Patent' and 2235 and also on the cylinder, 'Adams 1856 Patent on the left, Chequered walnut grip. £650
A PAIR OF BELGIAN 16 BORE OFFICERS PISTOLS with 19.5 cm octagonal twist sighted barrels with multi grove rifling, border and foliate engraved locks and tangs. Walnut half stocks with chequered butts, iron mounts including rounded butt caps, white metal shield shaped escutcheons and brass tipped ramrods, Liege proofs. Circa 1845. £1395

A .65 cal. percussion pocket pistol with belt hook, border and scroll engraved tang and lock the latter with the makers name, 5" laminated barrel, chequered walnut stock and with a brass tipped steel ram rod with worm. Converted from flintlock in 1830 originally built circa 1815. £850

Rim Fire 7 shot revolver with an octagonal 4" sighted, rifled barrel engraved along the top with the makers name and address. An interesting action with thumb catch on the frame that allows the barrel and cylinder to tilt sideways to allow loading. the frame is engraved with scrolls and retains traces of silver plating, as dose the back strap, walnut grips. A Belgium 6 shot 11mm Pin Fire revolver with a 6 1/4" octagonal barrel, etched with panels of scrollwork and with the makers name, the left hand side stamped ' E Lefaucheux Invr Brevete' Liege proved, the frame and cylinder etched overall with foliate scrolls, butt with lanyard ring and chequered walnut grips.
