LE LYON of Paris. A very fine and unusual 20 bore pinfire sporting shotgun/rifle. Very well engraved back action locks and hammers, the lock plates with the makers name in scrolls, engraved steel mounts and push down under-lever, 31 1/2" fine twist shot gun barrels the top rib engraved with ' Le Lyon invteur.Bte.a Paris' also 22" rifle barrels engraved the same, well figured burr walnut stock, chequered pistol grip the cheek piece nicely carved with flower heads and acanthus leaves, all in it's original velvet lined brass bound mahogany case containing a spare pair of pinfire hammers, a pair of percussion hammers, steel pincer ball mould with automatic cut off, wad punch and many other accessories. £5750

MOORE'S PATENT FIREARMS CO. of Brooklyn, New York, U.S.A.  A rare .32 cal. front loading six shot ' TEAT FIRE' revolver with a  3" sighted, rifled barrel engraved along the top with the makers name and address, the cylinder stamped with ' D.Williamsons patent January 5th 1864' foliate engraved action and walnut grips, all retaining much original finish, Circa 1865. £900

MOORE'S PATENT FIREARMS CO. of Brooklyn, New York, U.S.A.  A rare .32 cal. Rim Fire 7 shot revolver with an octagonal 4" sighted, rifled barrel engraved along the top with the makers name and address. An interesting action with thumb catch on the frame that allows the barrel and cylinder to tilt sideways to allow loading. the frame is engraved with scrolls and retains traces of silver plating, as dose the back strap, walnut grips. A Belgium 6 shot 11mm Pin Fire revolver with a 6 1/4" octagonal barrel, etched with panels of scrollwork and with the makers name, the left hand side stamped ' E Lefaucheux Invr Brevete' Liege proved, the frame and cylinder etched overall with foliate scrolls, butt with lanyard ring and chequered walnut grips.
