W.NEEDLER of  26 Silver Street, Hull. A 12 bore double barrelled percussion sporting gun with a patent grip safety, 26 1/2" browned twist barrels signed with the makers name and address, breeches with gold plugs, tang engraved with scroll as are the locks and hammers, the locks also with the makers name. Well figured walnut half stock with a chequered pistol grip and fore-end, trigger guard engraved with gun dogs and with a pineapple final. Brass mounted ram rod. £995

A 120 bore 6 shot transitional revolver of fine quality and condition. 4 1/4" hexagonal barrel, scroll engraved action and trigger guard, unusual sprung loaded rammer retaining much original colour, chequered walnut grip with an engraved hinged trap, all in it's original oak case with powder flask, mould, turn screws & cleaning rod. A 54 bore, 5 shot double action percussion revolver with a 6" octagonal sighted multi-groove rifled barrel, border engraved top strap engraved with the makers name and address, blued cylinder, border engraved frame, chequered walnut grips with a border engraved butt cap, Birmingham proof marks, all in it's original oak case with accessories. £2450

A 40 bore Percussion travelling pistol with a 5" octagonal damascus twist barrel engraved with ' Liverpool ' Scroll & border engraved tang, trigger guard, pineapple final and back action lock which is also engraved with the makers name. A 6 Shot 60 Bore Self Cocking bar hammer semi open frame transitional percussion revolver. with a 5 3/4" octagonal barrel fitted with a 6 1/2" spring bayonet, thumb catch at rear sitting alongside the hammer, scroll engraved frame, trigger guard & grip strap, chequered walnut grips. MANHATTAN FIREARMS Co. Of Newark, New Jersey. A .36 cal. 6 shot percussion revolver with a 4" barrel engraved with the makers name and address, the cylinder is engraved in panels and stamped with patent dates, brass trigger guard and back strap, walnut stock. £850
