Sporting Gun with 30" twist sighted barrels signed in full along
the rib, breech engraved with foliage and with 2 gold lines,
platinum plugs, London proofs. Signed border engraved locks and
dolphin hammers all decorated with scrolling foliage, figured
half-stock with chequered grip and fore-end, border engraved
mounts including butt-plate. Silver barrel bolt escutcheons and
a brass mounted ram rod, all in it's lined mahogany case with
some accessories. Circa 1845 |

barrels signed in full along the rib, breeches engraved with
foliage each with platinum line and platinum plug, London
proofs. Signed border engraved locks and dolphin hammers all
decorated with scrolling foliage, figured half-stock with
chequered grip and fore-end, border engraved steel mounts
including butt-plate with gundog and pheasant on the tang,
trigger-guard incorporating a chequered grip-safety and with two
gundogs, trigger-plate with pineapple finial, vacant silver
escutcheon and brass-mounted ram rod, in it's brass-mounted oak
case with some accessories including powder and shot-flasks and
makers trade label, Circa 1845 |

An 18 bore double barrelled percussion sporting gun
converted from flintlock, 31" sighted twist barrels, breeches
with two gold lines. Bevelled locks signed with the makers name
'Gered. on Dubreul Frere Fabricant. St Etienne. Trigger guard
engraved with a game scene, figured half stock with a chequered
grip and for-end and a carved Boars head to the belly, iron
mounts and brass tipped ram rod. This gun was made in France for
a German customer |
