AN UNUSUAL late 18th Century Dutch, Left handed 13 bore flintlock sporting rifle, two staged barrel cut with ten shallow grooves, the breech section octagonal then sixteen sided and struck at the rear with four marks, one possibly of Amsterdam, engraved tang with integral sight, plain convex lock with roller and raised pointed tail, faceted walnut full stock with a velvet covered cheek piece & the owners initials 'JB' in silver wire behind the barrel tang, engraved shaped brass mounts, set trigger with finger rest and with a horn fore-end cap £2250
J.PROBIN of London. A single barrel 16 bore flintlock sporting shot gun with a 32" three stage barrel, two gold lines at the breech, flat lock with French style cock, rainproof pan and roller on frizzen and frizzen spring, the plate engraved ' J.Probin, London' Walnut half stock with chequered wrist, steel mounts including scrolled trigger guard, horn tipped ramrod. HAWKES Of Hull. A 10 bore single barrel flintlock fowling piece with a stepped tail lock and the makers name in a gold oval. 58" barrel with London proofs and with a brass tipped ram rod. Circa 1800. £1250

Volunteer military pattern flintlock carbine, slightly rounded lock with a swan neck cock, the plate stamped with a crown over the top of 'W & S Rooke' Walnut fullstock with regulation pattern brass mounts, steel ramrod and sling swivels, trigger guard engraved with the number 42.  Circa 1820 £1250

A pair of 56 bore Flintlock box lock pocket pistols with 2" turn off barrels, engraved actions, folding triggers, sliding safety catches, walnut flat sided butts with chequered backs and raised oval on each side inlaid with sliver wire in the form of dots, star bursts & stars. JOYNER OF LONDON. An 80 bore Flintlock, Box lock pocket pistol with a two stage, turn off cannon barrel, border engraved action signed in a scroll on one side and with 'London' on the other. Flat walnut butt inlaid with silver wire scrollwork. Circa 1770. £695
H. NOCK OF LONDON. A  100 Bore Flintlock boxlock pocket pistol with turn off barrel, action signed inside an oval against a martial trophy on each side, thumb piece safety catch, steel trigger guard engraved with a star, flat sided butt. £395
