Street, Birmingham. A very unusual 10 Bore percussion single
barrel wildfowling shot gun. Border engraved flat bevelled lock
signed 'Ryan & Son' with stepped tail and engraved with foliate
and a sunburst. A 67 1/2" two staged, sighted barrel
engraved along the top with the makers name and address, border
engraved breech, foliate engraved grooved tang. Walnut half
stock with engraved iron mounts including scrolled trigger guard
with pineapple finial, horn for-end cap and a brass tipped
ramrod. |
